East Texas Title Companies - COVID-19

East Texas Title Companies is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and the effects it is having, not only our company, but also our clients and customers. We are still open and accepting orders, as well as accommodating closings with some adjustments to our “business-as-usual”.

Other good news we would like to share with you is that we offer Remote Online Notarization (RON) Digital Closings! We are fully prepared to keep your social distancing practices in place. CLICK HERE for a demo with Celia on how a RON Digital Closing works! We are asking our customers if they would like to utilize this option when closing.
 
 
In an effort to be proactive, we would like to outline the steps that we have taken to be able to meet your needs. These changes are effective immediately and we appreciate your understanding. We are fortunate that we have several avenues to allow you to interact with us remotely and would ask that you utilize the technology and resources we have available for you.



1. We will be scheduling Buyers and Sellers separately and at least 30 minutes apart to limit exposure to one another.
 
2. We ask that only SIGNERS attend the closing in an effort to minimize how many people are in our offices, at this time.
 
3. Customers should arrive to our offices at their scheduled time.
 
4. Doors to East Texas Title Companies will remained locked between 8am to 5pm.
 
5. Customers should call the number posted on the door to let the ETTC Team Member know they have arrived for closing.
 
6. ETTC Team members will clean and sanitize the closing table, chairs, door knobs and anything else that the Customers may have come in contact with, after each closing. 

Upon the Customers arrival to the ETTC office the ETTC Team Member with let them into the office and take the Customer directly to the closing room and make a copy of the Customer’s Driver’s License.
 
a. Documents will be pre-flagged where signatures, initials, and dates are needed by the Customer and already on the closing table.
 
b. We ask that the Customer only use one pen and take it with them after their closing is completed.
 
c. Once the Customer is done with the closing, the ETTC Team Member will review the documents to make sure no signatures were missed and notarize.
 
d. Upon the completion of the Customer signing the Customer will be done with their portion of the closing and may leave.
 
e. The ETTC Team Member will email the Customer a copy of the closing documents and communicate with the Customer by phone or email once the file has funded.
 
f. ETTC Team members will clean and sanitize the closing table, chairs, door knobs and anything else that the Customers may have come in contact with, after each closing.
